Homosexuality: is it Acceptable?
Rachel- A’lexandria Leigh Hawkins

Then unacceptability of homosexuality should not be over looked; there IS something wrong. Homosexuality should not be discriminated or looked down upon, but it also shouldn’t just be ignored as if perfectly okay. There are facts about homosexuality that people fail to see, and there are also statements “pulled from the air” that people take as fact. In truth, there are simple facts that lead to homosexuality being unacceptable.
A lot of things have been said about homosexuality being “fine” because there are a lot of people who are. The common number, and mistake, that people think is the percentage of homosexual people, is 10 percent. According to many resources such as Tradition Values, the accurate number is more like 2 to 4 percent. Still, people may insist that there are a lot. If there are 2 to 4 percent homosexual people then there are at least 96 percent heterosexual. Even if there are 10 percent homosexuals, there is still 90 percent that aren’t. Homosexuality is an outlier. Outliers are not common; they are part of the abnormal percentage. This indicates that homosexual people are not just average people to be accepted as such. Again, I don not mean that homosexuals are to be looked down upon, I mean that their condition shouldn’t be ignored as if OK.
To be continued…
